I use a web server to host my images so I don't have to deal with limitations outside of the rules of image size for POTN. The price is around $24 a year. If a tool is making decisions that lead to an erroneous output I would change tools or learn how to control the tool better.

The kids are adorable Allen. The room light doesn't look all that great. Tough gig making a wedding happen when you can't easily control the light in my opinion. Lots of choices to make. The second set look more balanced in general. Nice series.

Oh yeah it was very dark but I think I did a decent job of balancing the color temp of the strobe with the available light and I think my ratios were decent. If you also notice not to many hot spots on the faces too. A softer light source can really make a diff in my opinion.

Well after Don and Frank got me squared away with PB I think they look a lot better. I really never knew that you could change the setting for uploading and I didn't think if you could that they would make that much of a diff.

I can assure you that you handled the lighting far better than I would be able to. I am used to fairly fixed non dynamic situations and a wedding is none of these!!!

Thanks Joe. Most of the commercial/advertising stuff I shoot quality of light and color are important. Art directors can be very, very picky.

I love the third set! Thanks for reposting some of those- the difference is amazing. I don't use Photobucket anymore (I host most of my images on Facebook pretty much) but if I did I'd stop now!

One more completely off subject comment- that poor groom will never figure out how to get that dress off his bride! I didn't even know they made loop buttons like that on dresses anymore!

:lol::lol:Thanks Peace.

It tool a while for her to get into it. :D Her family are the best as was the grooms family. She works for a big client that I do commercial/advertising for and pretty much wouldn't take no for an answer when it came to shooting her wedding.

Well, it was my fault; if you resize it seems to be pretty good, better anyway. I think it was set to 56K so no wonder they didn't look real sharp. I always wondered why my stuff looked soft and like I said I got comments often about focus.

Looks good to me. Weddings are so stressful, I am sure you are relieved this is your last one!

YES!!!!! :D:D:D

I started to make the switch to advertising/commercial work 12 years ago and don't have any regrets. The work I do now is still stressful though a different type of stress.

Can't say I really miss weddings either. Especially getting strangled by my neckstraps.

Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here (external link). Cursing at your worse-than-a-map reflector? Check out this vid! (external link)

I dunno. Some of my bride's moms have been pretty hot. I don't think I'd mind being roughed up by one.

Not as the responsible party. Only as an irresponsible second goofball.

If it helps the bottom line its all good.

It helps with the sanity. Not so much the bottom line. :D

I like shooting second actually. I don't have to meet, sell, cull, or process. I don't have to do the boring family formals. I can experiment. If I get lost, it's not critical. And if i feel like taking the helm for a bit, I can...even if it's just for a couple shots.
