Yea, I wanted to have the dark and gloomy feel to it.

Dark and gloomy? Snow is hardly that;) and the sky is not that.so what you have is a backyard oversaturated photo?

well the theme is the fire in the sky, i think the blue contrasts the orange, don't you think?

While it does contrast, its more pink than orange to me anyways..give this one another try, only get outside and get another composition;) Its all about practicing, and that is what you are doing, its all good.
