A local organization that we support asked if I would donate a photo of mine for a silent auction. I'm happy to do it, but I wonder if should post a watermark or some other means of identifying myself as photographer for the winner? I don't usually print my watermark on photos and wouldn't likely do it for paying clients who know me (should I do this for money), but what about in a donation setting? I am going to print up an 8X10 and frame it. Would it be better to just put a sticker with my name on the back of the photo? Or on the back of the frame? I'm not really looking for business, but I guess I want acknowledgement for my work.
Thanks for any feedback.
