Although I have been interested in birds off an on, I kind of have the bug now. I know I have a lot to learn and would appreciate any CC. Thanks, Janie

Nice shots.

The first Waxwing looks a bit soft but my only suggestion is that you keep doing what you are doing and consider posting with the EXIF data included.

Welcome, nice series for a beginner.
I would also add that the Cardinal # 1 maybe a bit on the strong side as regards sharpening and luminosity of the reds... but that last Waxwing is a killer with a nice lighting.

Very nice! Beginner? You're getting the hang of it quickly! Nice gear list, too. You should be able to get really good results with the 7D and the lenses you have.
