28-105 3.5-4.5 vs tamron 28-75 2.8

Locally I can get a canon 28-105 for about $75.

on the net Used tamron going for $270-325.

I had a wish list of 24-70L but seems like the 2 above work.

I do light the low light 2.8 features of the Tamron. I don't mind spending extra if need to.
Advice or suggestion appreciated.

Are you sure about the version of the 28-105 you can buy locally? There were 2 versions of f/4-f/5.6 that were inferior to the f/3.5 - f/4.5 and are considerably cheaper.
