Hi everyone, I know this has been talked about before so bear with me please. I did a search but I wasn't exactly satisfied and I have googled. Could someone show me a good example of a receipt, that's mostly what I need help with. Pleasee help me out!

I think I can handle invoices myself but if you want to chuck up a solid example it would also be appreciated. Please and thank you POTN.

I don't issue receipts, sorry. :( And I get paid in full before any session, so I don't issue invoices either. Except for 1 commercial project that but I simply typed in Word my info, what the invoice in for, the total, etc.

It's all good everyone I think I've worked it out, I get paid before they get the photos also but a client needs invoices/receipts for their business when it gets it's tax time.

An invoice, marked "Paid" is a receipt.

Or you could by a "receipt book" at an office supply store and use it.

Not issuing invoices/receipts will come back and bite you hard when the tax man comes.

My contract has the price on it, so that can be their invoice/receipt for taxes.
