Has anyone used these diffusers for the MT-24EX Macrolite with good effect?

I have a pair of cheapo Gary Fong Puffer lookalikes but they are a bit fiddly to stick on to the flash heads, so was wondering if these would be an improvement.

Thanks in advance for your help

I used it before...but with additional layer of diffusion. The light still wasn't good enough but luckily I found out about the Concave diffuser from Stephen (SteB1) on juza.

I bought a pair and they don't do much by themselves. They also tend to fall off. There was a macro shooter on the fred miranda macro forum named delantech who hot glued the gary fong puffers onto the stofens and seemed to get good results. I haven't seen him post for a while but you may find him on a search. He also had some interesting howto macro videos on you tube. Try putting in MT 24 EX and they should come up.
