thanks... that's one of my favorites. it's amazing that at high tide, the grass in the background is all under water by at least a foot, maybe two. and at low tide the sand flats go on forever.

Love the colors in 1 & 2, would like to have a level horizon. Number 3 is great. Number 4 might be my favorite, as the composition is very unusual, but again the horizon is tilted. Cute squirrel, but the shot is not in the same league as the others. The last should work better for me, I'm not sure why it doesn't. Maybe if I saw the larger version. Anyway, good series and some minor work would make it even better.

I also like the third one best. The 4th is very interesting, but I'm left wondering what the foreground objects are...

I was wondering what the foreground objects in the 4th one are as well.

The third shot is my favorite though.

Thanks for looking!

those are buoys. we were on the bay side of the cape and when the tide goes out, if your boat is not moored, it will drift off. i actually did a series of this photo where in each one a different object was in focus, but i liked that one best. thanks for the comments though. :D

That's a lovely set of photos.

#1 is my favorite, with the birds in the sky and the person on the beach I think the composition is fantastic and that sunset colour is just gorgeous.

#3 is great, and I like the squirrel in #5.

Would the buoys in #4 take a little lightening to make it clearer what they are? It might detract a bit from the composition though - dunno on that one

All in all, a great set. Well done and thanks for sharing.

The fourth shot is simply awesome.
I like them all but that photo is really different and fresh. Great eye.
