Some wonderful work. The images you transform really are jaw-dropping. Great job.

"If I see one more post like this I'm going to lose it haha."
"The Youtube video is in his signature:" - using the biggest font I've seen so far on this website.
Yeah, I'm the guy that needs to calm down... I only stated that as "noob," I've read through 150 pages of this thread and this is one that I did not see any example of how this was accomplished. I know it is very generous for experts to take time to show how they do things and here it surely is done. There are over 2,000 posts in this popular thread and this is the first I have noticed that has the setup buried in a link in the signature.
Lambasting a "noob" vs. a professional response is not what I think the intent of this forum is. Obviously for Mike to say "If I see one more.." than this is not a rare occurence. I'm am happy to be the punching bag so that other "noobs" can learn. Maybe this will increase Mike's traffic on his youtube videos. I know he'll have atleast 1 more from me viewing them.
If I had anything to contribute picture-wise to this thread I would. But I am not yet at the level of any of you. Reading this thread is definitely increasing my knowledge though. A continuous stream of amazing shots. It inspires me and thank you for that.

I am very disappointed in the reactions of many of you who lambasted Mike Kelly for his "lack" of setup shots. This thread is not mandatory, so demanding and putting down his contribution should not be tolerated here. He has posted his "setups" numerous times with lots of explanations and question-answering posts. You all really need to calm down. If you took just 3 seconds and either looked at his signature, or just searched for his posts (or threads-started) from his profile, you would see just how much he shares his work and techniques with others.

Heh! A good reminder that some folks here are new and don't quite "know their way around":)!

As to Mike's work, his "setups" are so ornate, a video really does tell the story, just a shot of his camera and a flash at one point of time definitely does not tell the story!

Maybe (if Mike sees this) his future posts here could have a nice bold statement, like MY SETUP IS IN THE YOUTUBE LINK IN MY SIG it would help the newbies:)!

Yes, that's exactly what it is.

I thought it looked familiar, I had one on my last motorcycle for my GPS mount. I've always thought, and actually suggested to a few people that these would make good photography mounts also... I think RAM even make a tripod mount for a laptop, which would be great for a lot of photographer's.

good use of the mount Chrisa!
