This alone is an awesome image...

Very cool. Well done...

Yes, it is! It's what I thought! ;)
It deserves to be on the "Multiple-personality disorder" thread! :p

Such a sexy bike, Just picked up a 2011 Fuji Roubaix 2.0 in early june, put 570 miles on it! love love love it so far, the tiagra's where kinda a pain to set up at first but now that they're all dialed in there are no slippage or shifting issues whatsoever!

Congrats on the Roubaix. Those are great bikes too. Tiagra is great stuff. One of my teammates started racing on old 2005 Tiagra, and has upgraded in USA Cycling on those parts -- even Cat 3 podiums and a M35+ win. Nothing wrong with Tiagra at all.

Personally, I like the underexposed bike shot better.

The fence isn't so distracting, and it gives it that feeling of taking a well deserved break beside an old rustic barn down the road less traveled....

Maybe as you said, prop up the bike a few feet out from the fence to give it some depth and highlight the bike more to make it pop and clone out the prop device. keeping the fence slighty underexposed, giving it that dusky/night ride feel.

I agree partially -- I'm torn. I like the bike better in the brighter image, but not the rest of the photo. I will take another stab at it with a stand.

Booooo! Campy FTW!
Actually, I haven't heard much good about the 11 speed. I'm still running the 10 speed Chorus and Centaur.

Roubaixs are great bikes :)

Nice bike photos... I'm gonna have to try this on mine ;)

Campy is awesome too -- just never bought a bike that had it, and I'm cheap enough that I only buy whole bikes, generally, and keep them a long time. You really can't spend more than $1000 on a bike without coming out with something great -- bikes are so simple that they're hard to screw up. This is a team bike, so it was a good deal...

Post up your spin on a bike pic!

The hardest part is cleaning the bike!

Yes, and it begs the question: was this one long multiple exposure or multiple shots merged in PP?

One 15-second shuffle. LR4 for PP. EXIF is intact for both setup and result.

wow 8-15L would be the last lens I would guess you used for the (fantastic) turtle photos - any reason you chose that lens? I know nothing about underwater photography BTW

I use the 8-15 for wave photos. And this turtle just happened to be swimming around so i went and chased after it haha:lol:
