i dont own any TS lenses but i would like to know why people rave over them? The effect can easily be repoduced in PS from an image that was made on an ordinary lens or have i misunderstood something?

I'd be interested to here how to alter the plane of focus in post or increase DOF in post. Think you could be on to a real money spinner here if you can do that:)

That's like saying why do people buy fast primes when you can shoot at f/4 with a cheaper zoom and blur the background in photoshop

Well, you can change the plane of focus in post if you have a Lytro camera. The technology doesn't work very well yet, but we can hope.

All I want is a 10-2000 f/0.5L with no distortion that weighs 100 grams, fits in my pocket, and costs $300. Is that too much to ask?

Had to add new cartridges to my website database, so did some product shots with a lightbox I made in 10 minutes using $2 worth of white Bristol board and packing tape lol. Forgot to clean up some dust spots during post, but came out good!

Good thing about that lightbox is that I can use it again for later cartridges. If it gets too dirty, a quick spray of white paint will clean it up and if it gets crushed, $2, some tape and 10 minutes will make a new one.

Used a Sigma EF500 DG Super at 1/8 power on the left and a Canon 580EX II at 1/16 power on the right, both fitted with diffusers and triggered with 3 Yongnuo 603s.

EXIF intact.

Sorry about the watermark. Some competitors were stealing my website picts for their own websites, GRRRRR.

It's the worst piece of sh*t I've used, I need new one.

Well, to be honest, I've actually used even worse tripods, but it doesn't make this one any better. Like choosing between douche and turd. I need better one.
