Yeah, he shot that. He's gotten some good ones of his big sister in soccer too. He has a lot of interest, and works pretty hard at photography, as 7-year-olds go.

I knew exactly what was going to happen, and I still laughed.

A buddy of mine has been bugging me to photograph him bowling during local tournaments...
Problem is, bowling alleys (or at least the ones around me) are VERY poorly lit.

So here's what we did today instead

Setup:

Light: 2x AB800 (1 Soft Box / 1 Umbrella) , 1 AB400 Rim.. Triggered with a Cybersync
Cam: 5D3 / 70 - 200 2.8

#1 is nice. I'd crop out some of the clutter. Were you shooting wide open?

#2 and #3 I like the reflections. But in #2 you can't see his face at all. #3 also has a nice reflection (though it's cut off), and you did a better job of deemphasizing the background. But he's missing his right arm.

Also, maybe you could get a wet rag and wipe the dust out of the gutters?
