Wrong.....not an error.. they were all correctly framed to begin with.. i cropped them that way... i should have clarified that in the beginning
DT after attending a Peter Hurley seminar on headshots, I bought into his technique having a lot of negative space and cropping the head.
In MY opinion, it is paramount to follow the rule of thirds in this type of shots, otherwise they look like wife's errors (wife in general, not yours in particular).
As a matter of fact, I think that if you follow the rule of thirds, the rule of focusing on the nearest eye and you are shooting a headshot, you can only come up with the Peter Hurley look.
Looks like you are doing just as well in front of the camera!...
