That's the 24" Lastolite. I bought it used in the FS section for about $100. Came with the stand and the flash holder thing as well. I LOVE it!

Eddie, the lighting with some of your portraits has really been nice these days. I would have thought you had a softbox. I think you would really like it. I think you can control the light so much easier as opposed to with an umbrella.

Hey all, I've been watching this thread for the entire year and I've learned so much! I am always excited and fascinated by what I see and have been eagar to finally be able to post my own.. and now the day has come!

This is my DIY lightbox prototype, and my first attempt doing this type of photography! I am pretty pleased with the results, but C&C is still definitely welcomed since I am a beginner with this stuff!

Thanks Cory, I've been bouncing the flash if my ceiling but want to add a softbox to get a bit more control on the light spill

Single speedlight with 26" octabox and silver reflector on the bottom frame (can't be seen in the set up shot) and dog treat right above the lens hood.

Even with the treat above the lens hood, they refused to look in my direction.

Thanks. I think posed dog photos is a very frustrating thing to shoot.

Haha yeah. They got lots of treats.

I have a few with my golden just laying on his side and another where the chihuahua continued to walk up toward the camera.
