Incredible result!

Just curious, any reason why you had your tripod at an angle like that?

I have this up on the Urban Forum but I'll post it here as well. This was from a shot this past Saturday. Some friends and I went out to Long Island City to get some shots of the Empire State Building lit in Superbowl colors. Before it got dark I took some shots with the Big Stopper and polarizer. I want to render the East River silky smooth :D The river looks best when you can't actually see the nasty water  Thanks for looking!

I went through this whole thread over a couple days. It was excellent reading and impressive ingenuity throughout! Thought I'd share my very humble setup. <$25 and I've taken product photos with it for years. I would put diffusers on the lights if I weren't cheap, but I am. If you're careful about reflections, this is the bare minimum to get decent product photos. They're definitely NOT as nice as the vast majority of the setups here with external flashes, umbrellas and what-have-you, but it has worked for me for a few years.

Shop lights @ Lowe's/Home Depot - $8/each
3-pack of 100W-equivalent daylight bulbs - $10
Sheet - Not sure, but I already had it, so free for me.
Total cost: $18
