I have to jump on the bus and add my admiration for this - great work!

I'm on the bus too!

I just have one question...How in the world did you avoid and camera shake?

Thanks everyone for the kind comments!

@ptcanon3ti, I'm not completely sure...I stabilized it as best I could by tensioning the nylon line between the extra two suction cups and the truck grill. It felt pretty solid, but my street is far from smooth after the terrible winter we had. I drove around 25-30 mpg down to the end of the block so in addition to road vibration, there had to be some motor vibration. Used the Camranger to trigger in live view mode so the mirror was up. The speedlite accounted for most of the light in the cabin, I set it for rear curtin sync, so maybe that froze the movement inside. In 20 or so shots, I varied the shutter speed a bit as clouds kept covering the late afternoon sun, but in the shot posted, SS was .3 sec. Of all the shots I took, almost all were reasonably sharp.

Impressive!

There're still a few details, though: the tilted bottle looks odd: it should stand straight, and I'd push it a wee bit towards the right to leave a bit more 'air' 'twixt it and the holder; the crop might be too tight to include type, I'll leave this to your discretion. Finally, I'd photoshop out the glare from the lights on the open bottle.

Addendum: I just noticed the other bottles have this same glare too. Hmm, you could try photoshopping it out as well, or using a diffusion panel to give the highlight a smoother gradient.

Much better, in my opinion. I would also love to be able to read the letters on the opener (since I can see them) and that one rogue brown bottle bothers me...

I think it's a green bottle that is just not getting lit the same as the others, plus it's up against the red of the holder making it look brown. But I agree it is a bit distracting.

Really enjoy mini-threads within topics like this. DThriller - I hope it's not coming off as criticism, as this to me is a great way to see things in a different perspective when creating a shot. I would agree with the above, the darker bottle does seem out of place. Maybe removing it, as was mentioned previously gives a more fitting look to the overall image as the one bottle being removed and opened. Also agree with the others - nice bottle caddy!

I did notice that and I moved the flash around trying to make it hit the last bottle.

Thanks for the c and c
