It's amazing how much thought and effort goes into a product shot. Well done!

Looks like 1/5 shutter, ISO 50, F10 helped quite a bit

I generally set my SS at 1/160 when using flash like this. If I want to have lights show up like that just slow your shutter speed way down (1/5 in this case) and you will get the lights to show. You just have to be careful not to have your ambient lighting creep in as you slow down your shutter speed. I turned my lights off for the final shot after I got the other lighting down.

In general when using flash like this the aperture and ISO control your flash lighting and the SS controls ambient lighting and lights like this.

Shooting with 2 of my friends hence the gaggle of lightstands. I used the small SMDV speedbox on the far right (not positioned in relation to the attached image). and also, the gridded reflector 3rd from the right as a hair light.

My basic setup for dance photos in studio. Almost always 2 lights, sometimes 3 if I need a bit of fill. Rovelight main, Flashpoint 620m kicker bare or gridded.

Thanks. I wish it was my space full time but it's space I rent quite often. It is large and inexpensive!

Here is one from a senior shoot last night. About 30 seconds before her friend decided to let go of the light stand and my umbrella blew over and broke. That is what I get for forgetting my sandbags.
