You can still see part of the black thread holding up the clarinet, on the top of the first picture. You're not quite finished with your clone job.

when i showed my daughter, i noticed that...

the first thing SHE noticed was that i had the mouthpiece on upside down....

You can also see the round clone spots. Also, why the super wide aperture? Dof seems too shallow for product photography.

LOL, I can't speak to that part. I would have made the same mistake, most likely.

our local museum is going though their archives and recording things digitally now and there have been years and years of accusitions without complete documentation (the paperwork has been pretty good, the 3 days weve been working on it now) and i got the gig to photograph everything. and i mean EVERYTHING. they dont have to be poster quality so in some of the shots you can see the museum putty ive got holding things in position, or the little stand/easel is visible propping up the artifact. this is just a visual reference so they can tell WHICH silver tea-set (ive seen 4 of them from some of the city's more well to do families) is which...

shot with my motorola moto-Z. one of about 5 Civil War era surgical kits i shot the first day. the 2nd day i had a good selection of cameras and bed pans. all clean of course lol...

heres my set up...
