Finally managed to isolate the COVID-19 virus in my garage/studio... :) Wearing a face mask, of course.

Oh my God! I think I saw a couple of those in my dryer!

Great idea, by the way.

My backyard set up for multi-flash hummingbird photography:

For the backyard hummingbird project, I made these for "planting" in my flower garden bed. These consist of fake flowers, plastic single-stem tube used in flower shops, Perky-Pet yellow feeder port and home-brewed sugar nectar in the tube

Each of the DIY feeder is then placed in a cut-up plastic water bottle, half filled with pebbles and small rocks and then topped with water. The bottom weight gives it stability and the water serves as an "ant moat" so that the pesky ants can't get into the tube filled with nectar. Without the water, the tube with sugar water will quickly filled with a dozen drowned dead ants within an hour, literally clogging up the entire tube

These are then "planted" in my flower garden bed. A nice thing about the DIY feeder is that I can place each of these wherever I need to

The last step was to set up the flashes, a camouflage tent with my camera, laptop, and coffee -- and wait...

Great shots & cool set up. I'm always impressed when a photographer is willing to "rough it" to get the shot. ;-)a

Very nice, but why all that space behind her?

personally I like all the space to the side, wonderfully done and 1 light setup keeping it simple
