Well, it's neither itsy nor bitsy. It was, approximately, 1.25 inches long, and it's web is suitably sized. I got as close as I could, arachiniphobic as I am...and considering I knew it wanted me for dinner...I nearly fell on my hiney getting away from it when it moved.

nice shots michelle............ its really cool to see somebody overcome their fear for their art :)

I like the second one best (a wee bit soft) but the web really adds to the mood of the pic...
don't be scared tho.... you are WAY more scary to the spider....

I haven't quite overcome my fear - that may take a lot longer than this. LOL, that spider was hanging himself in the sun again today; I kept looking out at it through the window, and shuddering, hoping he didn't decide that he should come inside....
