if you had it's tail number you could google it. I also like searching a tail number on airliners.net for info.

I google N numbers all the time. I was mostly just curious if anyone knew just by looking at my picture what variant of the 737 it is. Thanks though! :)

they look a tad underexposed. But you did a nice job for your first time. I really like the 747 shot. Were shooting inside or out?

Outside, at the park across the street from the In n Out. I just fixed the exposures of some of them. I'll post the repaired ones in a bit.

It's a 737-700.

Here's an easy way to figure it out. The number on the nose gear door is a clue as to the N-number. 787 is the first 3 digits in the tail number. You can narrow it down from there if you know what last two letters SWA uses in their tail numbers. In this case, it's N787SA.

NG models (700, 800, 900) have the fuselage mounted landing lights, as where the classics only have the lights mounted in the wing root.

Aerophile- Ohh so that's what those numbers are. That makes things a lot easier. Thanks!

Here are some others. I tried to fix the exposures on them as best I could.

Like the 747 but the last one is really nice, brings the 747 upclose and personal

Thanks. The China 747 came in a bit lower than the Singapore bird did, allowing for some slightly more unique shots.

Like the additional set as well. Keep it up.

(I'm afraid the American Airlines bird is a MD-83 rather than a DC-9.)

Also, the classics' engine cowlings are flatter on the bottom.
