random thing i found shooting

These pictures are scenes that i like to shoot the most, just random items, especially old building and barns and such. any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I know #6 is kinda dark and it should be lightened up a little

by the way all but the first one was taken with the rebel XS with the 18-55mm lens and the first one was taken right after i got my T2i with the same lens

Rhetorhical questions for you, from me:

- What were you thinking of, and what did you want to portray, before you pressed the shutter?
- were there any different angles or perspectives that you could have taken to emphasise what you were feeling or thinking?

The rusty barn appeals most to me - I think because it is a bit of contrast between the flat ground and the rounded barn roof (plus the colors). Is there a way to frame this without the trees in the background?

As for the jug, gravestone and US flag - try a different perspective. These might be interesting items but it looks like the photos were taken standing up (which is exactly how we'd see these things day-to-day).
