I cooked my dinner specifically to photograph it.

Thanks! I'm looking forward to doing more of these. I love cooking too, and after starting to work at wedding photography full time it moved into my main hobby.

I'm thinking, "Don't let it get cold."
Maybe the specular highlights are a little hot.
The arrangement is super.

Very nice! The focus is bugging me, I think I'd rather see it on the chicken?, but the lighting and arrangement are fantastic. This is something I'm starting to work at myself, and if I had shot this, I'd be very happy with it.

Thanks, it was completely cold after I was finished photographing it. I had a couple with the focus in different positions, but the layout wasn't as good as this one. I'll need to bracket each one next time I try it.

Ugh, I haven't eated all morning thanks for making me hungry. Looks great. Sorry it ended up being cold after the shots. Bet it still tasted good. Nice shot, especially for your first food shot.
