Hello All!!


Been on the forum for a while now, reading and learning quite a bit. Just got a new 7D and a few accessories over the holiday and really enjoying the camera. I have to admit, I got the Kit lens with it, and just added the 50mm 1.4 and there is a CLEAR SHARP difference. I am truly having a lot of fun with this camera now.. Can't wait to add more lenses to the stable! Great forum and Great information~!!!!

Congrats on the Camera Eddie7D and welcome to the forums. Lots of great people here who love to help out by answering questions!

Just got my 7D as well this past week (upgraded from Xsi). Nice to see you have also already caught the lens bug and bought a second lens. Be advised however, once you start buying lenses your disposable income savings will quickly begin to dwindle! :)

Welcome to the forum. It is a great wealth of knowledge! I ordered my 7D Tuesday night from CLP. I watched the videos on B&H already. Very helpful! I was saving for the 100-400L but just couldn't get past the improved ISO preformance of the 7D over my 40D.

My 'best bang for your buck' all purpose lens, after much research picked up the Tamron 17-50.


My only reservation with the 7D purchase is that it is now a 2-3 year old camera..if Canon updates this model and you need to sell it for whatever reason in a year or so, the resale value may take a hit. But I have no intention of ever selling:)
