LOL...once someone trid to make a fool out of me by pointing out that I said "I could care less" insteasad of "I couldn't care less", and then I made him look like a stupid ass by pointing out how HE was a pretentious ass for assuming that I was using bad grammar when I actually said EXACTLY what I meant.

So...sometimes I actually DO say "I could care less", and it's not a mistake. I'm VERY deliberate with that ****.

But then...there's other stuff that really grates on my nerves. Like when someone asks, "how are you doing?" And then the other person replies, "Good."

THAT grates on my nerves. Why? Because I actually do it EVEN THOUGH I KNOW IT IS WRONG. I just can't help it. Every time someone asks that question, I ALWAYS feel like a stupid idiot for saying "good". It shouod be "well". But I never actually SAY that "I'm doing well. Instead, I always say "I'm doing good.". And I KNOW that it is wrong. Yet, I ALWAYS say that I am doing "good" instead of saying that I am doing "well". I've known that it was wrong for the last 20 years, I have ALWAYS answered wrongly every single time I've answered that question during the last 20 years. And I always IMMEDIATELY feel like an idiot for answering wrongly. That's been going on for at least the last 20 years.

But...I CAN'T STOP DOING IT. And lord knows that I've tried. EVERY SINGLE TIME that someone asks me how I'm doing, I reply, "I'm doing good". I hate myself for saying it, I immediately feel shame every time I say it. But for the rest of my damn life, I absolutely guarantee that I'm going to answer that question wrongly and then feel stupid for answering that way. I KNOW that's wrong, I've known that for the last 20 years. But I simply CANNOT get myaself to do what I know is right. I ALWAYS say the wrong thing, despite having plenty of pratice in dealing with that question. I STILL can't get myself to give the proper reply, I always feels like I'm an idiot for not giving the proper reply, and I can confidently say that I'm probably going to CONTINUE to answer that question incorrectly for the rest of my damn life.

And...that sort of pisses me off.

IfI were to make a list of my top 10 "most hated questions", then "how are you doing" would make it onto the list. Because it's a COMMON question, and every single time someone asks me that question, I feel like an idiot for replying like an idiot.

Dood, you need psychiatric care. :)

"Most overused phrases in photography?"

To me it's the word 'professional.'
