First and foremost - I am not looking for a hacked, illegal, or otherwise unregisterable copy of this software. I am only interested in a fully license-able copy with a legit key.

At the moment I have Adobe Acrobat 5 and it does most of what I need. There are a couple of features that were added in v8 and v9 that would help me out. The current version is Acrobat X which I am not eligible for upgrade nor do I need to spend that much. Also, not eligible for upgrade to v9, so........I'll have to buy a full copy again. I've seen some prices I can live with for v9.

Can anyone recommend a reliable, honest seller of an older version of software? I am looking for a copy of Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 for a decent price. I've searched Pricegrabber, Reseller Ratings, & Ebay and while I have a couple in mind I'd still like a better feeling.

Any recommendations?

Have you considered any of the Acrobat workalikes? Much cheaper, and with many of the features of at least the older versions of Acrobat. Depending on what you're starting from, there's even Open Office, which will output PDFs and is free. Paid utilities are available from, among others, Foxit and PDF Tiger.

Thanks Jon, I'll give those a look.

The main thing I'm wanting to do is to create an interactive form that's a little easier to save the changes to. I've got the form built with Acrobat5 and it works, just not very easily.
