this thing is driving me crazy:(. i want a 5Dmk2 for the F-F fact.
im trading my D3 nikon for it cuz i have "L" lenses to go with the 5D.
im have some hard time making the decision. but the nikon resolution when pixell peeping leaves me wanting as i do posters.
again im just venting and looking for some support about the decision. :o
dont get me wrong is a beast of a camera but i wonder if i will ever a camera of this caliber.
whis it was easier. thanx for listening and my name Rudy and yes im pixell peeper.:D group hug???:p

Do you shoot high ISO? If so, you might be disappointed. I wanted the 5D Mark II for ISO 12,800 shoots to supplement my 7D. My experience the 5D Mark II didn't handle pushing the shadows as well as the 7D. Overall luminance noise was better than the 7D by 2/3 or 1 stop, but it had more severe banding. It wasn't worth the investment for me. I can handle more random luminance noise from the 7D than I could the 5D mark II banding.

I had issues of banding with both in the beginning and I don't shoot that way anymore so i have not run into a banding issue since..

Been trying to sell the 7D local here and no luck i am not selling it for nothing so would rather just hold onto it for sports stuff and shooting every day. The 5dm2 can be the baby with low km's or miles depending where you from. Seems everyone and the cat is trying to sell a 7D here and they going cheap in the box brand new for 1300 with bags and lens gear? Thus my 7D is no longer for sale due to the lowballing i get!

I'm very happy with the 5Dm2 FF i haven't even told a few friends cause i don't want anyone touching it now he will know soon and want to touch since he is on here hmmmmmmmmm heck i find it hard to even use it i don't want to touch it myself...
The longer it stays mint the better
