i like it. i would just tone down the hot spots on the buildings from the lights

I can immediatedly tell that the fireworks wasnt there... as I can see where you tried to painted it in, its obvious at the rooftops.

I removed some of the fireworks that obscured the roof top but not much. I combined a few exposures.

Interesting comments. All I did was leave the camera on a tripod with a cable release and take multiple shots and then combine a few shots using layer masks. The fireworks came from behind the building quite a distance. The photo makes them appear much closer than they really were. I did not paint anything in. Just combined shots with masks.
