I think a lot of people will assume that since its an SLR it will be more capable than the similar priced point and shoot so they go for the 3000D instead of the S2 IS or Pro1 or whatever is out at the time, now Canon has them in their grasp. Now that they have an SLR they need lenses, they come here for advice on what to buy and we all say in unison L! Thus Canon executives retire in style. I'm taking pictures of everything, so go ahead and take this place away from me.
