RAW converison software conflicts?

Hey there, jost got my new 10D, and before I install the software that comes with it, I'm curious if the RAW conversion libraries will replace the ones for the G1, which I also have? Will they live together peacefully or will they conflict? The irritation of not being able to just install the RAW conversion stuff without the rest of the crap I'll never use is beside the point right now, at least until the Adobe RAW converter supports the 10D :(

Thanks!

Take a look at Breezebrowser.

A fraction of the cost of C1 and very powerful.

No commercial interest from me. Just a happy user.

Adobe CR is fast, easy to use and produces nice colors - but - in certain cases like ISO 400 and up it generates huge amount of noice in shadow areas.
BB is slower but produces excellent picture quality regardless of ISO speed used.
I'm eagerly waiting for Capture One DSLR Limited Edition which should be released soon.
Edit: some errors in text.
