I consider myself as a hobbyist too. I bought my camera because I "want" it instead of I "need" it. Im a psychiatric nurse in profession and I spend more time with with schizophrenia, bipolar, depressions, substance induced psychosis( "tweakers") rather than photography.

What really sucks is lately I've been thinking oh should I get this lens or should I get that lens? Well Im going to end up with both of them eventually so why not buy them both now? LOL Im the same way with firearms too..... cars..... motorcycles..... I have a problem. Oh and my pictures are horrible still. LOL

In Vegas I keep my 40D and 17-55 at the house.... I took these this weekend from my friends room at the cosmo. The rest of my gear stays in ND.... I will eventually like to take my 7d and all efs lenses to vegas. I think when I go back at the end of the month im going to bring my 1ds with me.... but it is really nice carrying just a back pack with an ipad and few items on the plane.

QUOTED IMAGE

lol thats an amazing photo man.. and yeah i wish i had your bank roll.. even maybe a 1/4 of it hehehe.. so how often do you get to make it in town?.

Subscribed!! What's up fellow LV Canon shooters! Originally from Hawaii, I've been living in LV for about 8 years now. I am interested in all aspects of photography and spend a lot of time on Youtube, POTN and wherever else I can get knowledge. Not to mention just getting out there and shooting whenever and wherever I can. It would be nice if some of us can meet up sometime and share techniques.

Peace out,
Chris

Here's one of my family at the Springs Preserve here in Las Vegas.

Count me in!! I am Randall, born and raised here in Las Vegas. I consider myself as a hobbyist too. I own Randalls Art and Framing, so when you all need your awesomw shots framed now you know where to go.

I shoot most birds and wildlife but dabble in landscapes.
