Both Tom. Start with which of the two image edits you prefer, then what I could do to improve it.

Hey Everyone!

I just want to answer or clarify questions I see being asked about the shoot this weekend.

As Bryc mentioned, we would like to be on location by 11 a.m. Some of you may want to take some time to look around the property and scout locations to setup and shoot.
As for indoor/outdoor shooting, we have access to 2 barns and surrounding property which, we can shoot indoor or outdoor if you so desire. One of the barns has 2 levels (2nd floor not really big) but that barn is pretty much empty so, we can use it however we see fit i.e. for staging, dressing change or lunch/break area. The second barn (main barn) has 3 levels with tones of early century props and is big enough for a couple of shooters to shoot together without interfering with one another. The grounds also have plenty of old props, such as, old cars, claw foot bath tubs old signs a gas station and other buildings as well, so there will be plenty locations to shoot for everyone! Power will be limited, so please bring plenty of batteries and power cords. I will try and see what I can do about using their electrical outlets.

Tho you all are welcome to shoot as you please, Bryc and I thought it would be a good idea for shooters to pair up. The thinking behind this is that, one shooter can assist the other by helping with lighting setup, prepping shoot area and what ever deemed necessary, as this will make everyone's experience (including the model) more enjoyable and keeps things running smooth. Upon one shooter finishing their session, you switch rolls and help your partner with their shoot. By doing this, we save time and may have extra time latter that to do extra projects. For those that don't know, there is also a beach area further down the road from this location. If any of you plan to shoot there please please please let some one know of your where abouts and go in pairs.

Lastly and very important, tho this property is open to the public and considered a historic landmark, it is important to remember, that the buildings on this property are also the homes of the property owners and it's by their permission that we are allowed to show here. So please respect and beware of private property. Clean up after yourself, keep the noise to a minimum and if unsure if the building you want to shoot in is an actual home or not, please come see me.

All money's are due on location ($50 per person) also, it would be helpful to know or get some idea as to what food/drinks everyone may bring as to not be redundant.

Thanks everyone!

If anyone has questions, I'll be happy to assist you!

Presha

Thanks everyone!

Thanks everyone!

Very Nice explanation, Working in pairs would be the best course of action.

Seeing it is pm a Saturday, I will not me involved in this shoot. I hope everyone has a great time.

I hope that everyone that knows whats going in will pair up with a person that does not know as much and teach. Teach them how, what, and why you are doing what you are doing. Express to your partner your vision and how to execute the specific look you envision.

I hope everyone has fun and gets a chance to learn new skills from those who already posses them. I wish I was gong to be there help share in the fun and education. If any of you guys are in need of any Gear that I posses, Please PM me. I will lend to anyone who is willing to replace any damaged equipotent if it cannot be returned in same condition it was lent. (grip that is)

If this shoot was on a Wednesday or Thursday I would be there. I just cant make it, AKf

ATTENTION ALL SHOOTERS FOR ELDORADO CANYON!!!!

I spoke with the owners this morning and they assured me that there are power outlets on the grounds that are at our disposal! So please bring power cords and strips for those that need an external power source!

Enjoy guys...btw I got a 7D using Canon CLP...so now I have two bodies to shoot with, no more changing lenses. I can have 24mm to 360mm coverage or 70- 640 mm range.

I am looking for nice lens to cover 18- 200, do you have any suggestions, this will be good for red carpet shoot.
like this one of Eva Longoria:

or Lo Bosworth
IMAGE: http://tonyniev.smugmug.com/photos/1221134462_aVhAW-L-1.jpg

I have to be honest I cannot join the outing because on Saturday I have blue carpet with Kendra Wilkinson at 2:00 pm and later in the evening a red carpet with Vanessa Hudgens and then some grammy winners

Cheers,
Tony

They follow a rule and some PR folks place spots with your names. Where did you shoot and for which agency?
