Las Vegas Canon Shooters

Awesome work everyone.....

Sometimes its just nice to shoot stuff other than your norm. So I called Bry and we went out for a late night Vegas Photowalk last night... And I just refused to bring a tripod...

Oh well here are my favorites of the night. The LED lit flower shot is Completely unedited, just resized for web. All shots were taken at ISO's above 1600 and all hand held thanks to me forgeting my Tripod.

Lenses Used: 10-22, 24-70L and 70-200 f/2.8L IS

Nice shots of city center and Belogio guys! I'm often down there around 2 in the morn shooting, I love it! I have an entire series of night shots from the strip.

Thats when bry and I left the strip.... LOL

These are all with the 70-200 IS F/2.8 hand held in extremly low light(late night) conditions. So thus why Bry out of focus.

Tony you have such a nice backyard. You should do some ultrawides of it for us to look at.

Widest I have is 24 mm on FF.

Went to the Art Factory for 1st Friday last night , a friend ( and fellow Canon shooter ) was performing with a group of Firespinners. Challenging to shoot , shot about 250 shots , sorting thru the keepers now.

I really like that shot. It reminds me of the big raves back in the early 2000's here in vegas. BTW Electric Daisy Carnival will be here this Summer. Expect a ton of fire dancers, glow stick spinners and breakers to be out there for this huge event. It averages over 100,000 people every year for a huge electronic Music Festival. Trust me I will be there. The quetion is, will I be sober enough to bring my camera????

Thanks... I will have to mark my calendar for that. Being sober for me is easy , I drive so I won't touch the sauce at all. I am pretty happy with many of the shots I got last night , next month I plan to get there early and find out what else 1st Friday has to offer.
