I love beautiful Natural women, when they inject that stuff in their lips I think it ruins them. They are natural beauty's and do all this stuff to try and compete, sad. Look at her she is so beautiful but her lips look as if she is healing up from a back hand left.

I like clothed fake Boobs, but most of them disrobed look awful! Her body is nice and fit, her face looks out of place because of the lip injections. Nice pictures Bri, I was just making an observation.

Agreed Tom. Although I love a high quality boobjob. Botox lips, not so much....

I say we do some Gorilla shoots. 2 to 3 guys and a model per car, Hit downtown early morning. Set up at the the RR tracks, and do Nooks and cranny's as we walk thru D-town.

We will have so many guys with us and I carry, no one will F with us. This was we can all work as a team. One shooter per spot. The other guys assist. This will give each shooter the feel for having a full crew and how to manage this process.

Many benefits to this kind of set up, in this way we dont see Duplicate shots in anyones ports. People get 1st hand experience of each persons strengths. Also the Models gets tons of looks without having to change a stitch of clothes. Every shooter is different, the way he poses, the spot he chooses, the lighting he calls for everything will be completely different.

This kind if shoot the fees would be very low. The fees would be just for makeup kit and artist. We can get the models for TF in MM. That is easy, I had 4 the first day I ever posted, it is simple. We dont need bombshells to practice running a shoot and making good high quality images. Not everyone get a chance to run a full shoot every day. It would be nice to play that role again for me at least.

IMO, Now days regular people (not the over done high fashion look) have more character in portrait work. They are also more of a challenge. A photographers job is to make a subject look their best. If the subject is already fine as hell, it is hard to mess it up, even horridly lit, poorly composed, and terribly posed images are good enough if the subject is a beauty. The talent carries the work. I am more of a traditionalist that looks closely for the ingredients that a photographer used to make a wonderful portrait.

Snaps, paparazzi, flat and evenly lit, no pattern photography is easy just Spray and Pray, and get good at photoshop, That kind of stuff isn't what I am into. Envision, then verbally express the vision before the shoot, and execute the vision to create is what a real pro does. However most dont have a clue about the basics. This is why these meetup shoots are great. You get to practice, when you practice and fail you learn. When you stop learning you are dead.

I dont think one could take a bad picture of Tyra Banks, Nicole Scherzinger, Jessica Biel,Adriana Lima, or Claudia Lynx if you used a Holga and a stick to press the shutter.

I have a ton of gear an I am willing to share if it is treated carefully. We all know how much time and hard work it takes to acquire gear. I think we should make it an All day deal. Schedule 3 to 5 girls that come at different times of the day (fresh meat, J/k).

We can use available light, a combo of flash and ambient, use high power strobes in midday to over power the sun as well as use shaded areas and bounce light in with reflectors and use speedlights on poles for main lights.

Most of all during the golden hours we might be able to create magic. You really have to be dialed in to take advantage of the quickly changing light conditions. It takes a crew working together to dial the lights, change the potions, and a photographer that knows his gear to keep making changes to create consistent string of images that really show off that wonderful time of the day. This is what I think.

Lastly weekends are hard for me, Wednesday and Thursdays work the best. Also less BS to put up with, everyone is at work. Doesn't take all day to get across town (except rush hours) maybe we can switch meetups, every other one is mid week instead of weekends. This way those who work week ends have a shot to do a meet up shoot.

I hope my lengthy post is taken with an open mind. I have been around a bunch of really good photographers, and unless you have a studio where everything is set up and ready to go, for location work it is a team effort. In a studio one assistant will do just fine for 99% of everything. I wish I was blessed enough to have a studio space to call home, so for now it is Run and Gun for me.
