I use Irfanview for quick looking/cropping. Simple and fast.

Unlike most people, I don't use PS, I use GIMP, which is similar to PS, open source, and free.

Oh, for RAW, "raw therepee" for my non-Canon camera, and the Canon software DPP for the Canon camera.

Picassa is free and great. Also Windows can open all picture files right from file manager. Just press "view" and choose what size thumb print. But if you have Photoshop then Bridge is really hard to beat.

I second this. i use LR for processing and also make a copy of the raw files to my wife's computer where she uses FastStone

I'm looking for harsh criticism of my photos - tell me how to improve, I will be grateful.

+2 for Picasa. It also opens RAW images and is simple to navigate and use. And as previously said, free.

Agree, start here, you already have it and it's not a bad program. Try it first before you start spending money on something else.

I also use DPP for a quick view and to cull a load of images from a shoot as it's much quicker at doing this than Lightroom IMO.

DPP (Digital Photo Professional)
or just the plain Vista Photoviewer.

(Besides Adobe Bridge which is my first choice)
