I have an old Leica Table Top tripod from the 70's that I rarely use any more. However, I recall that I was always happy using it in the past!
I'm just wondering if a RRS BH-25 head (with clamp) would fit on it.
And I'm also wondering if anyone else has tried that combination.
(I am only asking about RRS--I am not changing to another brand at this point.)

Anybody tried the BH-25 on a Gorilla Pod....just wondering that, too?

Thanks.

I have a RRS BH-30 on a Gorillapod Focus. I almost got the BH-25, and probably should have. It works just fine though, just a bit bulkier than the BH-25 would have been...

Thanks for the response!
So...you think the 25 would do the job? That is, for relatively light use.

I'm sure it would. You'll have a heavy tripod and a light clamp - better than the other way round! That's a great tripod but it does weigh.
