Is there anybody who upgraded from the monitor calibrator - Spyder 3 Pro to Spyder pro Elite??? Did you notice any difference? Is it worth upgrading?

Bohdan - I may be, and probably am, completely wrong.

The SP3 puck is actually pretty good and works with wide gamut monitors, so you could go looking at other software, such as Color Eyes Display Pro or BasICColor although the latter can only be purchased outside the USA (I'm sure you can find a way). Of the 3, which includes SP3 Pro, BasICColor gave me the best calibration on my recent monitor. I have SP3 Pro but started looking for software when SP3 could not give me a satisfactory calibration. I ended up buying BasICColor and I am happy with the results using the puck from the SP3. All of the software have full working limited time, trials so you can actually try them and decide which one works the best for you. Hey! Thanks a lot! So I can download a different software and use it with the Spyder Pro 3 censor...?

I've been using it for nearly 3 years and it's great. Works beautifully with my Spyder3 puck. Chas P
