Hi guys,
I tried a search, but what happened to me is hard to search for. I'm running mac and I tried a plugin called smart curve. But I think it was too old. Then today when I went to adjust the curves, instead of the usual curves box. I got this picture of a guy in front of a PC acting if he was given a fright and at the top of the image was called "Don Cone".
Weird. Just plain weird.
I shut down Elements and ran ClamXAV. No viruses were found. Then I uninstalled that plugin and then re-opened Elements. Tried the Curves again and it worked normal.
Has anyone had this?
Cheers
Blair

Ok, I've just opened Photoshop back up and when I opened the curves enhance option he's back!
This time, I did a screen grab.

Pretty funny really, but it is a worry how he got there.

Darn! It sure looks like a bug crawling around in your system. So far nothing jumped out in a google search but still looking.

Just googled scott kelbys photoshop insider blog and found this
"Really, who was Don Cone? I’m just a customer of Photoshop, but I’m sadly reminded of the poor fellow when I see his eulogy every time I open the program. I didn’t get much on Google (except for this blog message). And now I find out he was based in my city. My wife and I wonder every time we open the program.
Thanks,"
Seems he was an adobe engineer who died some years back and the splash screen is some kind of eulogy-rather nice really

Weird. At first I thought I'd been hacked or spammed. And now I know someone else has it I guess there's no point of re installing it.
