This fella landed on our bedroom window tonight - I think he's still there.
From this angle it looks like he's hunting, but the bug came along just to
make it interesting.

Not sure, but the closest species for this area is a Spring peeper, pseudacris crucifer.

Did you darken parts of the image? I can see them on my monitor--and they are a little sharp--maybe blend them in a little more so as not to notice them.
Otherwise---I love it! The reflection and the bug--terrific.

Thanks, Bonnie. I had cleaned up the original with select/delete rather than cloning or the healing brush. I have replaced the image above.

What I thought was crud on the glass were the third and fourth reflections on that double pane window. I guess I was getting something from all four surfaces. Very strange.

You're right about it being a tree frog - our resident naturalist positively i.d.'d
this one as a gray tree frog - hyla versicolor.
