Hey everyone, newbie here with a canon s5is. I took these at my moms house the day we got our 1st snow of the year. I messed with the color settings on the camera while taking the picture as the camera seems to take in black in white when in the snow so wanted to add some color. Comments would be appreciated. Thanks!

They look a little oof, is your jpeg setting at too low a quality or did you forget to sharpen after resizing.

ok, photobucket won't upload my cropped version nor will it save when I crop directly in photobucket... anyway.. is this better for the sharpness issue?

The focus is off...and never mind playing with settings.take the photo correctly first time, then you can play in edit?

QUOTED IMAGE

Meaning the shot is out of focus. There is no focal point. It seems to be no subject. Just a shot out the window so to speak.

First step........ Take the lens cap off.
