Not sure what to say about the photos themselves but there seems to be a bit too much cheese on those pizzas, the dough is also quite thick and the kitchen looks dirty.

I very much like the joy and happiness captured in these shots. Memories well remembered.

Perhaps Magnus is confusing the pizza with lefse.

Fun Series!

(Although I have to ask why you have a washing machine in the kitchen / why are you cooking in the laundry room?)

This set looks like a kind of 'cartoon strip' or photo-documentary of how to make a pizza and in that way it works although there are a few technical issues.
The first two are well composed to tell the story and the third one would be too if it weren't for the big black knife getting in the way of everything.
Next time move it!

The fourth one doesn't work for me because she's making one of those 'I don't want to photographed' faces and because there is too much background. Might've been better if you were a bit closer to her.
The back wall is also very much brighter than the rest of the photo which either means it was metered wrong or that the lighting in the room was making it hard to get the right exposure.

In the fifth one your wife has done everything right and struck a nice pose etc. but one of the 'rules' of photography is to avoid cluttered backgrounds.
There is so much going on in the background that the viewer's attention is drawn away from the main subject i.e. your wife.
Next time put her up against a simpler background or better still open up the aperture and blur the background altogether.

There are also other issues with brightness and white balance etc. etc. but for now you can forget about those and just concentrate on getting the composition right because you can always sort the rest out in PP. Composition is king imo.
Hope that helps.

Sorry to be the only one boring enough to discuss photography. :-(

No need for a frowny face. Thanks for the tips. Most of these were shot @ 2.8, so I guess I should have (a) used a prime or (b) stood further away and zoomed in.

Do you think the WB is too warm/cold? I adjusted it in PP using the eye-dropper in aperture and the washing machine as my grayscale.

Yeah either a) or b) would work. You could also put her in front of that red spice rack thing.
I know that seems to contradict what I said about cluttered backgrounds but spice racks always give a kind of chef's kitcheny sort of feel to the image.
It would be even better if the rack was slightly out of focus.

As for the white balance, it seems a little bit yellowy to me particularly in the last picture, although it's difficult to tell because the walls are so yellow so I can't decide whether it's the walls or the WB.
???
