I thing the bee is a little close the center, however there is good balance in the arrangement of sedum. The out of focus areas reveal some noise in the first one. the 2nd one has less noise. I like the slightly off-center yellow flower. Honestly, I had a real hard time to think of anything negative to say about these. Good Job. I didn't notice the noise until after mentioned it. I did a little post processing that may have contributed to that. I really appreciate a little positive feedback to go with the CC. The background looks kinda gross and clashes a bit with the flower which doesn't really have an separation or contrast in it to make it a compelling subject. Yes the Bee was really hard to capture. Every time I was ready to take a shot it would take off. This made it really hard to focus on the Bee. I really appreciate your feedback but the gross background is leaves from the flowers. A natural background that blurred as it should while keeping the flower sharper. No where near as good as it could be I know. I will get better with all the great CC I'm getting here. Pre-Focusing is a great way of getting your shot, after you pre-focus, set your lens on manual. Thanks for your input. I do have a tripod and will have to put it to more use next Summer. I don't have a remote shutter release yet but hope to get one in the near future. I've been reading about pre focusing in my book and I'll use what I've learned to capture better focused shots when I get the chance.
