Was asked by Leigh to shoot her in an Audrey Hepburn/ Classic Hollywood style. Was lots of fun researching the old photos and then doing the shoot. Let me know how I did!

I really like #1 the B&W conversion looks great here. Good shots!

Number three definitely has some great vintage look, style, light etc. The 4th one is not flattering to her face at all compared with 3.

You don't happen to have a diagram or behind then scene shot for 3 do you?

The George Hurrell style of old hollywood glamour is one that has been discussed at length here on POTN. don't know if you researched how he did it, or read the threads here, but a lot of his stuff was much more dramatic, one light stuff. While I think you captured the look with clothing and make up, it doesn't have the same "feel" as the lighting isn't the same. Still, these are terrific images, but the lighting isn't quite right if your goal was to copy that style.

I did look at his work and others of the era and was intending to get that look. As usuall, I had a list of things I was going to try (single gridded spot, silver gridded BD) and once I got shooting forgot to check my list! Going to have to print it out and place it close by for next shoot. Didn't occur to me until after the model left

White gridded BD above her, I was shooting in front of large softbox for fill, then a gridded spot up high pointing at the back of her head. Gridded spot on floor for backdrop light.

i dislike nitpicking but her right eyebrow is not symmetrical to her left, it's the first thing my eye catches.

^ My very humble opinion

#3 is breathtaking! The lighting on that one is amazing. Nice B&W conversion on all of them!

Eyebrows aren't twins, they are sisters. That is what make up artists tell me. ; )

Thanks again all. Yes no. 3 is one of my favorites. I printed it last night 13x19 and really like the result, so nice to see my images full size at last (Thanks Santa!)

Here is I think a slightly better pose that came right after #4 above:

Another shot from same series as #3:

And another angle from same series as #1:
