Nice job, Jay; especially East meets West. I was too young to be into photography at the time, but I got to check out the old An-225 at an airshow some years ago...the sheer size and mass of those behemoths really stuck with me.

Busting out the wide glass for that one, eh? Lol. Very nice. Slow shutter is looking good, embrace it! Go slower, I dare you.

Thanks! We've had the AN-225 in here at Willie once or twice. We keep hoping the Saudi's will get impatient and they'll send the 225 for a bigger load next time! Super Guppy has been in and out lately down in Tucson picking up T-38s and dropping them off at Holoman for repainting. Hope to catch it next time it's in town down there.

I suppose the 70-200 can go wide relative to what I'm used to using!
1/30 on the departing Helo. Not bad with a 300mm lens (if I do say so myself!)

Cheers Peter! (Hope you're keeping dry...)
He was an impressive sight for sure! Should be back sooner rather than later. I believe the Saudis are getting a total of 24 Apaches.

Thanks very much. The one you linked is turning out to be quite popular! :D The pilot himself bought a 20x30 poster of it...

Wow Jay! You've really got some spectacular shots (as usual). I particularly like 3, 5, and 8.

Keep it up!
