Is there any way for the Cyber Commander to serve as a camera remote?

I've been trying to figure out a schematic somehow (if at all possible) that the cybersync could serve as a camera remote as well. If there was some way that it could trigger the CST through another channel and take a photo. I was hoping that the brighter minds here can think of a solution since I can't.
Thanks!

Isn't the CST a transmitter? If so, it can't be used to receive a trigger signal and trigger the camera. However, you can get a CyberSync receiver to trigger the camera. If you also want to trigger remote flashes as well, you'll still need the CyberSync transmitter. And they need to be set to different channels.

how do you set a cybersync receiver to trigger the camera?

It seems that I need to hack a camera remote cable to get this to work. Is there another way?

You can buy ready-made remote release cables like the following:

Assuming you have a Canon camera, which one of the above cables you need will depend on the model of your camera.
