Ordered another Sigma 30mm

Yay, i ordered another sigma 30mm, was gonna hold out for a canon 24mm L, but the sigma is awesome and i cant wait to get the new one! :D

why do you need a 2nd one? :) for a 2nd body?
I'm going to pick one up soon hopefully, so fingers crossed I'll get a good copy!

No i had a bad eperience with the last one and had to get rid in the end, but im hoping this one will not let me down :D

I have this lens and it is awesome. I was totally convinced from the first time I fitted it to the camera. Mine has fantastic iq and is sharp as a knife, with awesome colour and very very useable.

On a crop, it doesn't get MUCH better than the Sigma 30mm. Good luck on your copy.

It is a great lens! Sadly I will be selling mine when I get back from vacation in a day or two. My copy is flawless on my 7D, no MA needed at all. The FL just does not work for me. I never find myself using it, almost ever. In low light the AF is just a bit too slow for me to be useful. It is not terrible, just not near as good as any USM lens.

Id really love the 24L MKII, but obviously the 1k difference could go towards something else, as im thinking of switching out the 70-200 f4 is for the f2.8 MKII, so i figured its a good compromise and allows me to do both i guess :)
