Hello guys… today I decided to leave my flash home. I was going to take photos of a 14-year-old girl this morning and I just decided to use only my reflector. I love shooting with ambient light a lot so my reflector was all I needed today. I went to a park near my house where there are different scenes in the same place. Perfect for portraits, fashion and family photos. I think she’s going to love these photos when she sees them. Well, I hope you like them too so any comment is welcome.

Nice shots. I would have loved to see her face a little brighter. Or maybe its just my monitor.

Great shots man...I love natural light photography...I may be doing my first portrait shoot soon and have been thinking about buying a reflector or reflectors...Which one do you use and recommend?

It's kind of hard to reflect light DOWN onto a high angled shot like this. Your source for this light you want to reflect is the sun and this high angle makes that more difficult. Your model looks way older than 14! Wow! Did you get any close ups?

I don't remember the model but I think its 5-in-1 reflector - 48". It works very good.

Yes, it wasn't easy...

That's what I told her mama.. She looks older in these photos. She did a good job too so it helped me a lot. I think I have some closeups.. I will post one as soon as I get home.
