I like the second more, Dustin. The first it a tad overprocessed (shadows/highlights?), to my taste.

[MOD NOTE: I've deleted the last 2 pictures; only 2 attached images per thread, thanks. See POTIN image posting rules, link in my signature.]

I appreciate the attempt, but they are both OOF...and it seems you tried to so an HDR, which doesn't work here....focus, composition...

Yup, seem a little overcooked. I'm a little curious as to your choice of aperture also. f/22 ?

I have been tld more than once on here my images look ''HDRish'' I only use ACR, however my RAW files comes out of ACR, thats how it stays, I rarely ever use other features in photoshop. Maybe I am overdoing ''Fill Light'' & ''Recovery'' too much??

Thanks for your input guys, I appreciate it!

Thats most likely the culprit...I can get carried away with tonal contrast myself so it looks edgy, but more often than not doesn't help the photo.

Yup. Look for the parent folder of those images, and delete the sidecar files. Open back up in ACR, and do NOTHING to the shots, just output as is, and, if you can, please upload one or the other again. That way, you will get a side by side, and we can see what the problem may be?

Thanks for your help, maybe you or someone else can see what I am doing wrong in ACR.

I kind of reprocessed the RAW again, chaging only 3 things slightly. less recovery, less fill light, and adjust the white balance slighty. Let me know if it is better? It does honestly look better to me, more natural. I need to stwp back and look at my photographs more.

Also here is a straight JPEG of the image, NOTHING doen to it

The photo itself is OOF, so any editing you do will only enhance that fact.
