I searched the threads that discuss Black Rapid(BR) straps but have some comments/questions of my own. So, for those that have custom BR setups, this thread is aimed at you. ;)

I'm looking to get a dual-camera setup, similar to their DR-1 or DR-2, but using the RS-Sport & RS-7 straps. I'm aware of their CoupleR add-on for the RS-5 & under. BR replied to an email of mine stating that both straps, RS-Sport & RS-7, are meant to be worn cross-shoulder. However, when I look at the shape of the RS-Sport it appears to be similar as the right-side shoulder strap of the DR-1. The video on the DR-1 even shows that right-side strap separated and worn as a single cross-shoulder.

To sum it all up, I'm looking to get the RS-Sport on the right shoulder & the RS-7 on the left shoulder. Do you guys have any recommendations on how I can join them together? I have taken a look at strapworks.com but am unclear as to which route I should go. I haven't bought anything yet so I hope to minimize unnecessary purchases.

Otherwise, I may just crackdown and buy the DR-1.

I'm Preston & I pretend to know what I'm doing but I really just wing it.

since you want a dual set up, i'd go for the DR-2 because of its slim profile.
I had an RS-7 and it felt comfortable over the right shoulder only.
It might have been because i never used two R-straps at once.
I think the DR series will have better shape for left shoulder.
The RS-7 was awesome but it wasn't for me.
I ended up using two Cotton Carrier Holsters and a leather belt, but i may look into the DR-2.
