The unopened bud is annoying me but I left it there anyway. It's part of the plant. But damn I wish I had picked it off

The nature purist would object to you picking off the dry flower head.

However, there is nothing to say that you can't bend it around so that it is hidden beind the good flower.

LOL It'd probably be okay if you ate it, that way it wouldn't be "wasted".

I was kneeling down to shoot a flower like that one time. I had a short lens on the camera, and I was just about ready to go when I saw an animal approaching a similar flower a little ways off. I barely got the shot off just as the animal ate the flower, so nothing went to waste on that one.

I was out walking when I came across this area covered in these beautiful little daisies. This one just hit me. I guess I have to learn to examine what I am photgraphing before I take the photo. I simply didn't notice the bud till I got it to PS.

I love the contrasting colours that on occassions my back yard (all 7.5 million kilometres) can show off.
